1. Our commitment
empowered.guru, LLC is committed to improving access for people with different abilities, devices, and ways of navigating the web. We treat accessibility as a design and engineering standard, not a final check. Where we have not yet met that standard, we want to hear from you.
2. Priorities
Keyboard access
Navigation and interactive controls are designed to work without requiring a mouse, with visible focus indicators.
Readable presentation
Clear hierarchy, generous contrast, responsive layouts, and respect for reduced-motion and color-preference settings.
Assistive technology
Semantic HTML, meaningful labels, and ARIA where it adds information help browsers, screen readers, and other tools interpret each page.
3. Our approach
Accessibility work on this site includes:
- Using headings, landmarks, links, buttons, and form controls with their intended semantics.
- Supporting keyboard navigation with clearly visible focus indicators.
- Providing text alternatives for meaningful imagery and decorative differentiation.
- Designing layouts that adapt across screen sizes, zoom levels (up to 200%), and orientation changes.
- Respecting reduced-motion preferences and color-scheme preferences for animation and theming.
- Reviewing contrast, labels, error feedback, and live-region announcements as interfaces change.
- Automated accessibility checks in CI, plus manual review for new features.
4. Standards
We design and test against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. We track conformance on a rolling basis and publish material gaps here.
5. Compatibility
The site is designed for current versions of major browsers and common assistive technologies, including VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, NVDA and JAWS on Windows, and TalkBack on Android. The experience may vary with older software, browser extensions, or third-party content outside our control.
6. Known limitations
We may not have identified every barrier. Third-party destinations and older media can have accessibility limitations that we cannot directly change. Where a barrier is in a third-party component we control (for example, an embedded form), we will provide an alternative path on request.
7. Feedback and alternative formats
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology involved. Email accessibility@empowered.guru or use our contact page. We aim to acknowledge within 3 business days and to provide the information in an accessible alternative format on request.
8. Enforcement and evaluation
The Company evaluates accessibility internally on a quarterly basis and engages an external auditor annually. Material findings and remediation progress are reflected in this statement. If you are unsatisfied with our response to an accessibility complaint, you have the right to escalate to the U.S. Department of Justice (which enforces Title III of the ADA), to your state attorney general, or to the regulator in your jurisdiction (for example, the Equality and Human Rights Commission in the UK or the European Commission in the EU).
